Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the Scholars Program, Brooklyn College in 1993, as a member of the Hellenic Society and Student Government. Flora pursued her undergraduate education while managing five medical offices throughout New York and Kings County. Thereafter, while enrolled in Brooklyn Law School, Flora was active in the Elderlaw Clinic, representing indigent elderly at administrative benefits hearings, landlord tenant actions, and to draft wills. Flora later represented the City of New York at Corporation Counsel in the Medical Malpractice and Special Litigation Unit, defending various City hospitals, the EMS, NYPD, and the Board of Education. Prior to joining this law office, Flora was a Supervising Attorney for the Matrimonial and Bankruptcy departments of a boutique law office in Manhattan, New York. Flora is admitted to the state bars of New York and New Jersey, as well as the Federal District Court of New Jersey. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, Brooklyn Bar Association, Volunteer Lawyers Program, and was the recipient of the New York State Bar Association Pro Bono Award, 1995.
